Shanghai Jiaotong University and the Marseilles Business School jointly set up the Mediterranean Diversification Research Center of China and Europe in Shanghai Tuesday.

China and Europe have become strategic cooperation partners, and it is of increasing importance for the two sides to expand economic cooperation and exchanges in the process of globalization,said experts with the center.

The center will serve as a platform for studying economic policies, diversified enterprise administration, strategic cooperation, cultural exchanges and other research subjects concerning the two sides.

The Antai Administration College of the Shanghai Jiaotong University and the Marseilles Business School have cooperated successfully on running school, including launching a series of Master courses concerning industrial and commercial administration.

The two sides set up the Mediterranean Diversification Research Center of China and Europe on the basis of previous cooperation.
