Children journalists from China's primary and middle schools will be invited to produce a news program at China Education Television (CETV), beginning Jan. 1, 2005, according to the Ministry of Education. The news program is aimed to help children see the world with their own perspective, and express their views in their language style, said CETV director Kang Ning. According to Kang, the 10-minute program, to be delivered at 6:20 p.m. everyday, is composed of four parts -- interactive discussions, photos and news stories by children journalists, news digest from local newspapers around the country, and daily life tips. About 10,000 children journalists around the country will be invited to work for the news program. |
