Chinese Scientists Completed A Precise Map of Rice Genome

| Chinese scientists have recently completed a precise map of the rice genome and have carried out related research. Their thesis will be published in the second issue of the third volume of PloS Biology, an international periodical. Experts considered that the completion of mapping the rice genome has established the foundation for studies on differences between various rice subspecies and investigations into the advantages of hybrid rice as well as comparative genomics of Gramineae plants and evolutionary research. |
