I. Brief Introduction Beijing Institute of Clothing Technology was developed from its precedent, Beijing Institute of Textile Technology, which was established in 1959 and later renamed as Beijing Institute of Chemical Fiber Technology in 1961. It was transferred to the joint management of MOE and Beijing municipal government. At present, the institute has six departments of seventeen majors, i.e. clothing design and engineering, art design, photography, polymer materials and engineering, light chemical engineering, applied chemistry, industrial design, automation, electronic information engineering, international economy and commerce, accounting, marketing, business administration, information management and information system, advertisement, English, drawing or fine art. There are also one second bachelor's degree program and eight master's degree programs: science of materials, textile chemistry and dyeing & finishing engineering, chemical engineering, mechanical and electronic engineering, design art, science of arts, clothing design and engineering, textile materials and textile design. Academic leader: a 130m2 house and RMB 20,000 for settlement, RMB50,000-300,000 for startup of scientific research, and Hukou for spouse and children. 2. Yangtze River Scholar guest professor (part-time special professor): a suit of working house, position salary of 15,000/ month paid according to the actual working months, and annual business fees of RMB10,000. Yangtze River Scholar special professor: position salary of RMB100,000/year, with a 130m2 house, RMB50,000-1,000,000 for startup of scientific research, and housing subsidy of RMB300,000. 3. Academician: a 130m2 house, expense for settlement and startup of scientific research subject to face-to-face negotiation. 4. Doctor: housing subsidy of RMB120,000 within five years, equal to RMB2,000/month and then according to the national standards after five years, RMB10,000 for startup of scientific research, and Hukou for spouse.
