In order to meet the demands of an expanding client base and improve the attractiveness and usability of CUCAS services to clients around the world, CUCAS has embarked on a number of major upgrades in the last few months. To improve access speeds for overseas applicants, the CUCAS website was moved to an American webhost in November. This was due to concerns that domestically-hosted websites often suffer from slow access speeds overseas. Also in November CUCAS officially launched its Russian page, and in December, a Korean version. Both sites provide detailed information about CUCAS services and are backed up with customer service and support in the language of the applicant. These markets are of particular importance, as China is already a popular destination country for study abroad students from both Russia and Korea. CUCAS is also proud to announce that, in an online first, it is now possible to apply to China’s top two universities–Peking University and Tsinghua University–, through the CUCAS application system. And, with a specially-designed all-inclusive application package, entering one of these two elite institutions is easier than ever before. |
