Dazzling detective techniques seen in the movies are now being applied to the real world, guarding people's safety.
Sources from the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Public Security said that Beijing has employed a range of high technology to maintain public security and social order. Head of the Beijing Public Security Bureau disclosed that the first-phase project of a broadband digital communication network for public security affairs has been completed and its second-phase project is under construction. In addition, an electronic platform was completed and put to use, through which maintenance of law and order, traffic management and the review of administrative affairs can be handledon-line. Among the high technology the city used in cracking criminal cases, technologies relevant to psychological testing, automatic identification, field surveys and fingerprint collecting have reached world standards. |
