CUCAS, China’s official online university application system for international students, in conjunction with Beijing Language and Culture University (BLCU), China’s top university for foreign students, are proud to announce the creation of a new scholarship fund.

The BLCU New Student Scholarship has been created exclusively for talented new students applying through CUCAS for full-length degree programs at BLCU in 2012. Up to six full one-year scholarships will be offered, including 2 places each for undergraduates entering in the spring and autumn semesters and 2 for postgraduate candidates applying for the English-medium MA in International Politics (International Economics).

BLCU is the only university in China to have been set up with the express goal of teaching Chinese language and culture to foreigners, and while it has since expanded to offer many other majors and disciplines, it still boasts the most comprehensive Chinese syllabus and the most diverse student community in the country. You could be sharing a classroom with students from every corner of the world!
